Chinese Grandmother Wisdom for Pain Relief

Based on Chinese healing and martial arts, my decades of teaching, and my personal healing experience from back injury, I believe that physical and mental tension, improper foot placement, and poor body alignment and mechanics can be some primary contributors to pain and frequent injury or reinjury. Just as it takes years to develop such bad habits, it takes time and effort to identify problems and retrain the body.

I have developed a gentle but effective method to identify, relieve, or even eliminate those contributors to pain and frequent injury.  To make this method work, you need regular small to moderate doses of practice. As a Chinese grandmother wisdom states, “Dripping water can penetrate stone.” In the same way, we need a steady drip of gentle restorative exercise to access the body’s ability to self-heal.
